Udom expresses the noises inside his head, translating them into mixed media artworks. He decodes these noises into lines, colors, and forms for us to see.

Udom said that if ‘rap’ is a mumble, he feels that everyone is a rapper. If we really sit still, we will hear mumbling inside our heads all the time. It is a mumble that we alone hear over and over.

Udom mumbles his inspiration in rhyme as :

There are always little noises inside our head
They disappear when we sleep,
They will return when we wake up
Sometimes the eyes shut but the noises are still there
From dusk until dawn, we chase them but they don’t go away
Grumpy grumpy grumpy of what ‘s already passed
Grumpy grumpy grumpy of what not yet come
Something that we think it’s important it’s nothing
What could bring those noises down
To stop them from shouting in our head
A guru said meditation is a great potion
It turns down that loud noise
It makes the noises less frequently visited
It’s easier said than done
I got gout, bad knees and bad legs
To sit still … still … still
Is like to put a monkey in a basket
Not even yet but start complaining
It starts coming
The noise is coming
